WHY STORE NO. 5
Why do we still call ourselves “Creative Store No. 5”?
Railway Village began as housing for Taiwan Railway employees. During restoration, the old residences were numbered Creative Shops 1 to 11; most later adopted new storefront names.
At No. 37 Railway Village, we kept the original name “Creative Store No. 5” and the old address. Despite the name, today we share Thai lifestyle goods, drinks and desserts.
For us, the name is not a product category. It is a small piece of memory left by the railway homes, with a new Thai everyday life growing inside.

Store No. 5 is in Railway Village inside Miaoli Railway Museum, a relaxed stop for families, railway fans and travellers.

By train: exit toward the rear station, enter the museum and continue to Railway Village.
The museum has no dedicated car park. Paid parking and metered street spaces are available near the rear station, with paid parking also near the front station.
